Music in the Meadow ‘24
Bletchfest’s Music in the Meadow has grown bigger and better since its inaugural event in 2022 and we have a great line up of three exciting, individual bands guaranteed to bring a feel good atmosphere to this year’s event at Grange Meadow on Saturday July 20th. They are Los Doritos, Jungle Brew and Something Like That. You’re bound to hear plenty of music you’ll like and discover a lot you didn’t know you liked!
Jungle Brew are a Surrey based band formed a little over 10 years ago playing a heady mix of ska, roots, funk, swing and latin flavours to make your feet stomp and your voice soar. They give a unique twist to some great tunes.
Los Doritos are a motley bunch of Hampshire/Surrey based minstrels who, despite their name don’t perform anything Latin American, they just like the name and crisps! Their laid back music reflects the era of the long haired bank clerk, flares and those endless summers of long lost youth. They also have a taste for strange hats!
Something Like That are a great local five piece covers band playing upbeat tunes that will have you on your feet dancing with joy. They make themselves available for parties, weddings, action movies and expensive holidays abroad at the clients expense!
Gates open at 5pm with the first performance getting underway at 5:30pm. A licensed bar will operate in the Pavilion bar offering a variety of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. A hot food stall will satisfy your need to replenish any depleted energy reserves while dancing the evening away.
The venue at Grange Meadow, Godstone Road, Bletchingley has plenty of free on site parking.
Tickets are £10 General admission (ages 12 up) and £5 for children 5 to 12. Under 5’s go free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Do bring your own chairs and/or picnic blankets and join us in enjoying an evening of Music in the Meadow.
